Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Have lunch at a picnic site and continue exploring in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Tarangire.
Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Check into your lodge on the crater rim and enjoy the spectacular views. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route and arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti.
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti National Park. Witness the incredible wildlife, including the Big Five and the great wildebeest migration. Optional hot air balloon safari for a unique perspective. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, then head to Lake Eyasi, a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer groups in Africa, and learn about their traditional way of life. Overnight at a nearby lodge.
Spend the morning exploring Lake Eyasi, then drive back to Arusha. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure, with optional visits to local markets or cultural sites. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach and enjoying the resort’s amenities.
Take a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the historic buildings, narrow streets, and bustling markets. Return to your beach resort for dinner and overnight.
Embark on a spice tour to learn about Zanzibar’s spice production and enjoy a guided tour of a spice plantation. In the afternoon, visit Jozani Forest to see the endemic Red Colobus monkeys and other wildlife. Return to your resort for relaxation.
After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
